What it does
Die while logged off and ASA only marks the spot on the map. DeathMarker gives you the normal in-world waypoint when you log back in, and it follows your body, or your death bag if the body is gone.
A death with nothing to recover makes no waypoint at all, so it cannot push out the one that matters. Earlier waypoints stay up when you die again, and each one clears itself when you walk up to your body.
Offline Death Waypoints
A death while logged off gets the in-world waypoint at your next login, not just a map marker.
Follows the Body
The waypoint tracks your body, or your death bag if the body has been eaten or harvested.
No Waypoint for Empty Deaths
Dying with nothing to recover creates no waypoint and leaves your earlier ones alone.
Earlier Waypoints Stay
Dying again no longer hides the previous waypoint. The game's limit of five still applies.
Clears When You Arrive
Walk up to your body and its waypoint disappears from the screen and the map, at a distance you set.
The Game's Own Markers
Nothing new for players to learn or install, and the plugin stores no data of its own.
