StructurePickUpBalance release history

Version notes for StructurePickUpBalance. Each release lists what was added, changed and fixed.

2.5

The current build. Earlier versions were never distributed, so this is the baseline rather than a step up from a public release.

Added

  • Picking up a support takes only the structure the player targeted. Everything snapped to it collapses with the normal demolish sound and break effects instead of going into the player's inventory.
  • Four modes for what happens to the structures that collapse: Demolish refunds them as a manual demolish would, Destroy refunds nothing at any depth of the attached build, Block refuses the pickup, and Vanilla leaves stock behaviour. Setting: Mode (default Demolish).
  • Block only refuses pickups that would actually bring something down. A piece still held up another way, such as the end of a ceiling run or walls that reach a second foundation, can be picked up normally.
  • In Destroy mode, structures that survive because something else still holds them up keep their normal demolish refund.
  • The player is told how many structures collapsed, or that a pickup was refused, with configurable wording, colour, size and duration.
  • Exempt specific structures by part of their blueprint path. Setting: ExemptBlueprintPaths (default empty).
  • Updates apply without a server restart, and SPB.Reload applies configuration changes from the console or RCON.
  • The config file accepts // comments, and the shipped file explains every setting inline.
