What it does
Damage Numbers draws a floating value where each hit landed, for every hit that matters to you: the damage you deal and, where the server allows it, the damage you take. Each number is what the hit actually did after armour and resistances, and a burst of hits spreads out instead of stacking into one pile.
Switch on the colour renderer and dealt damage, incoming damage and hits on a raised shield each get their own colour.
Coverage extends past player-versus-player combat to ridden mounts, unridden tames and structures, so a tribe can see a base being chewed on as clearly as a firefight. Every player chooses their own level of detail with a chat command, and the preference persists.
Dealt and Incoming Damage
Numbers for the damage you deal and, where the server enables it, the damage you take — with optional colours to tell them apart mid-fight.
Per-Player Toggle
Each player sets their own detail level with a chat command, and the choice is remembered between sessions.
Structure Damage
Optional numbers on structures, so a base under attack is visible rather than silent.
Tames and Mounts
Covers ridden mounts and unridden tames, with the owning tribe as the audience.
Tribe Sharing
Relevant numbers reach the whole tribe, while friendly-fire hits stay personal.
Shield Block Feedback
With colours on, damage that lands on a raised shield facing the attacker shows teal, so both sides can see the block.
Explosive Totals
A stack of charges detonating together reports one summed number instead of a burst of fragments.
Distance Limiting
A configurable view distance keeps numbers to hits you could plausibly see.
Drawn Where It Landed
Numbers appear at the point of impact and spread apart, so a shotgun blast reads as separate hits rather than one pile.
