Rank Groups

Keeping tribe rank groups aligned across maps.

Rank groups stay aligned between maps, so a member's rank means the same thing everywhere in the cluster.

What propagates

  • Creating, renaming and deleting rank groups.
  • Per-group permission settings.
  • Member assignments to groups.

A member's rank follows its group when the group is renamed or deleted.

Rank group names must be unique within a tribe

A rank group cannot be created or renamed to a name its tribe already uses, and the player is told why. Same-named groups cannot be kept in step between maps (BlockDuplicateRankGroupNames, on by default).
