TransferGuard
Configuration
Cluster directory and backup settings.
Configuration lives in config.json in the plugin folder and is read when the server starts.
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
MapTag | MAP | This map's short code, used to label log lines. Required. If you run ClusterSync, use the same tag. |
ClusterBackupEnabled | true | Turns character backups on or off. |
ClusterDirectory | — | Your cluster directory: the value of the server's -ClusterDirOverride launch option. Required for backups. Use forward slashes, or doubled backslashes. |
ClusterId | "" | Which cluster inside that directory. Leave empty to detect it automatically when there is only one. |
ClusterBackupKeepVersions | 10 | How many past versions to keep for each player account. |
ClusterBackupIntervalSeconds | 30 | How often to check for changes, in seconds. |
DebugLogging | false | More detailed logging. Leave off in production. |
Keeping backups for longer
Versions are kept by count, not by age. A player who transfers often can cycle through ten versions in a few days. If you want to be able to restore a loss noticed later, raise
ClusterBackupKeepVersions.Leave any other settings in the shipped file at their shipped values.
