A profile describes one kind of event creature: which species it applies to, how rare it is, and what it looks like. Profiles are tried in order and the first match wins, so put the rarest first.

Two profiles ship as examples: Apex for large predators and rare flyers, and Ascended for a wider set of gatherers and mid-tier creatures.

Rarity

SettingWhat it does
EnabledTurns this profile off without deleting it.
ChancePercentChance a matching wild spawn becomes this event, 0.0–100.0. Ships at 1.0 for Apex and 0.25 for Ascended.
ChanceMultipliersMultiplies ChancePercent for named species, capped at 100%. Use it on creatures the map keeps very few of, so they are not effectively impossible.

Which species

SettingWhat it does
DinoTagsSpecies this profile applies to. Empty means every species.
ExcludeTagsSpecies excluded from this profile only.

GlobalExcludeTags is checked first, so a species listed there is never boosted regardless of what a profile says.

Stats

Stats gives each of the six stats a MinPoints and MaxPoints. Points are picked between the two and spent from the level budget, so a higher maximum means that stat takes a larger share of it.

StatOverrides replaces those values for named species — stats you do not list keep the profile's values. It is what makes a Quetzal build differently from a Rex.

Level

MaxEventLevel and MaxEventLevelTek set the level for this profile. Zero uses the global value.

Spawn immunity

A window after spawning during which the creature cannot be damaged, and a second one during which it cannot gain torpor. Each is a range, and one value is drawn per creature.

SettingWhat it does
DamageImmunitySecondsMin / DamageImmunitySecondsMaxTotal damage immunity after spawning. 0 disables it.
TorporImmunitySecondsMin / TorporImmunitySecondsMaxHow long it cannot gain torpor, so it cannot be tranquilised immediately. 0 disables it.

Colours

Colors takes one entry per body region — six in total. Each is a colour id, or a list to pick from. -1 or an empty list leaves the game's own random colour. Ids run 0–100.

The shipped profiles use a hot palette for Apex and a cool one for Ascended, so an event creature is recognisable at a distance.

Name tag

NameTag writes a name on the creature, with {event} and {dino} placeholders. It is off by default and may not display on all game builds.
